Step out in the rain or shower freely, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are two phones that will pull through it all. These amazing Samsung flagships can also be taken inside a pool for up to 30 minutes in a depth of 1.5m or below. Time for some underwater selfies right! None of its USB ports or earphone jacks have extra caps or cover for you to struggle with. Samsung has managed to seal off its inside components so that you don’t have to worry about sealing them right.
While you may not want to take this phone to the pool, this one will certainly survive the rains. Sony states that the Xperia Z3+ is waterproof and dustproof too. If it gets dirty, you can wash it with water without worrying about it. However, you will have to ensure that all the ports are shut before you take it out in the rains.
The Xperia M4 Aqua is another smartphone from the Sony series that is both dust and waterproof. In fact, this particular phone has been given the highest IP rating in a smartphone (IP65/68) which is a standard that measures a device’s resistance levels to dust (IP65) and water (IP68). But remember to cover all ports for these added benefits.
This phone isn’t particularly marketed as a waterproof phone, but be assured that it will survive if you get stranded in a downpour or accidentally drop it in a puddle. Its internals feature a water-repellent nano-coating which makes it a decent phone to have when making your way through the rains.
