Voot is a video streaming service launched by Viacom 18 and is much like Hotstar in terms of Indian content. Its library includes several TV shows running on TV channels right now, including Bigg Boss 10 and some recent films too. They also have English show and some original TV series which can be a good incentive to download it.
This was one of the earliest streaming service to be launched in India. It has no English content but has a wide variety of Hindi, Punjabi, Malyalam and other regional language films that you can stream on your smartphone. You can currently watch many films for free but for access to the whole catalogue you need to subscribe.
One of the newest streaming services in the market, Jio TV works on Jio 4G and offers Live TV channel streaming of over 350 plus Indian channels, including English, Hindi and Regional. It gives you access to episodes of shows for up to seven days after they go Live and lets you pause and resume them at your own will too.
