that loads you up with essential nutrients.
We reached out to chefs from some of the top hotels to help us get the right blend of ingredients to quench your thirst in the hot days to come and this is what they recommend you sip on.

Cucumber & Mint Lemonade
Lokesh Jarodia, Executive Sous Chef, Novotel Imagica Khopoli gives out his secret to beat the heat with a cooling cucumber and mint lemonade. This is the perfect summer concoction as the cucumber cools down the body, the lemon energizes your body and mind, while the mint adds an aromatic and refreshing punch to the senses!
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup Persian cucumber (English cucumbers), peeled and sliced
1 cup mint leaves
In a small pot, combine sugar and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool.
In a blender, combine cucumbers, mint leaves, lemon juice, and slightly cooled sugar syrup. Blend until smooth.
Strain through a fine strainer (or muslin cloth). Pour lemonade into a pitcher. Add remaining 2 cups of water. Stir to combine. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
Arjun Kotte, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre recommends this healthy summer juice. It's a perfect blend of ingredients that not only keep the body hydrated in summer, but also help boost the immune system. It's also a good way to sneak in veggies to your diet.
1/2 cup of orange juice
1tbps of fresh celery juice
1tbps of basil juice
1/3 cup of carrot juice
Pour the freshly extracted orange juice into a bowl. Orange, which is rich in Vitamin C, helps keep the body hydrated.
Add in the celery juice, which is an excellent source of enzymes and antioxidants.
Now pour some basil juice, which acts as an antibacterial agent, into the bowl.
Lastly, mix it all with some freshly prepared carrot juice, which will also boot your immune system.
Peter Pinto, Chef De Cuisine, Novotel Hotels & Resorts Goa has blended together some fresh flavours of summer that will leave you revived and refreshed.
4 cucumbers coarsely chopped with peel on it
½ cup fresh lime juice
½ cup packed fresh mint leaves
¼ cup organic honey or sugar
1tbsp minced ginger
Few sticks of celery
500ml club soda
Slice of lime for garnish
Put all the above ingredients into a juicer/ blender to prepare this cooling summer juice.
