Easy Chocolate Mug Cake

01 raksha bandhan recipes

Ingredients:
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/8 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
3 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp milk

Preparation:
1. In a large-sized mug, put in the flour, sugar, cocoa and salt;
2. Add the vanilla, milk and butter, then mix to form the batter;
3. Leaving enough space in the mug for the cake to rise, place the mug into a microwave for one minute on the highest power setting;
4. After a minute, use a toothpick to check whether the cake has been cooked through. You can do this by inserting the toothpick into the mug – if it comes out clean, your cake is cooked. If not, put it back into the microwave for 30 more seconds; and
5. Wait for a few minutes to let it cool down and then serve.
