SpecificationsThe phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC which, apart from being the latest Snapdragon processor, also comes with the X55 LTE modem – making it capable of 5G connectivity. For the camera, it has a 64 MP primary camera alongside 20x digital+optical zoom, and an overall quad-camera setup with features like Smooth Zoom technology and Nightscape 3.0 for low-light photography. The front of the phone features a 90Hz display with a punch-hole camera setup with a screen-to-body ratio of 92%. The display is also capable of 1000nits max brightness. The two lenses on the front are a 32MP wide-angle and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The device also comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB Dual Channel UFS 3.0 storage, which has been apparently optimised to perform even better than UFS 3.1 in some cases. The 4200mAh battery can be charged fully in 35 mins with the 65W SuperDart backed by improved charging algorithms. As for variants, you can pick between Moss Green and Rust Red. For memory, there will be three variants – 12GB+256GB at ₹44,999, 8GB+128GB at ₹39,999 and 6GB+128GB at ₹37999.
Other announcementsThe company has also announced its intentions to become a lifestyle IoT brand by launching multiple products connected by Realme Link, a central software platform for its upcoming ecosystem. According to CEO of Realme India Madhav Sheth, the already announced Realme Band will be launched on March 5th. Other upcoming categories include Audio devices and wearables, as well as smart screens, smart speakers, soundbars, smart home appliances. Realme TV has also been confirmed for Q2 India and promises to be customised for India. Travel products are also on their way from the brand.
