Awards season is to the Film and Television industry what fashion week is to fashion and the G8 Summit is to politics. And while our futures remain undecided—what with intolerance at home, the Europe migrant crisis and the joke that is Donald Trump's candidature for POTUS—some respite can always be found in the comfort of the fripperies that can be found in red carpet fashion. Kicking off the season is the Emmy Awards, Television Academy's Oscars, and while awards come and awards go the red carpet fashion is all we really care about. Our girl Priyanka Chopra is bound to make an appearance at the event and, unlike Han Solo, we have a good feeling about this. So what if she and her show Quantico haven't received any nominations this year; the only winners that count are the ones on the red carpet—or so we like to think. Not that she needs any help (her red carpet appearances are second only to Queen Bey's) but we thought we'd put in our twopence and make a few suggestions. Here you go, PC. We think these would look great on you.

Sheer + Lace

Phase Eight Navy Sheer Lace Dress
We all know Priyanka is a big risk-taker but the true element of surprise lies in throwing a curve ball and showing up in this Victorian-inspired figure-skimming dress.

Lacy Skater Dress

New Look Pink Skater Dress
Sure it's lace again, but it's diametrically opposite to the one above. A fun and flirty skater dress is just the thing the red carpet needs about now.

Jewel-toned Lattice Gown

FG-4 Royal Blue Ramelia Lattice Maxi Dress
This gown is fit for a goddess and PC is exactly that.

Indo-Grecian Accents

Alpana Neeraj Designer Wear Cream Chain Gown by Kimaya
Homegrown designers could do with a representation on International red carpet turfs, and this Grecian Alpana and Neeraj gown would be worthy.

Navy Jumpsuit

If Taylor Swift can do it, Priyanka Chopra can do it better. Cover Image courtesy Denis Makarenko /
