With an increase in the availability of high-resolution content, buying higher-resolution televisions made more sense. Only, those good televisions weren’t cheap enough for most to pick up. But all that’s changing with Xiaomi entering the television market here in India. Xiaomi promises to offer excellent televisions at never-seen-before prices and wants to redefine what consumers expect from budget televisions. All televisions offered by Xiaomi are graced with Xiaomi’s Android-based smart Patchwall UI that uses AI to suggest content that one might like to watch. Patchwall supports streaming services like Eros Now, Zee5, Voot, Sony LIV and Hotstar amongst many others. You can also control the television with your smartphone and mirror content from your smartphone to the television via a WiFi connection. But if you choose not to use your smartphone, the bundled remote can control both your television and the connected STB. Let’s take a look at each one of the offerings by Xiaomi and see which one will suit you the best!
