My dressing style is fun, bold and experimental, and I always look for clothes that let me showcase just that. Of course, on some days, I just dress according to my mood. That’s what I’ve done with these three looks, all picked from Westside’s new collection available on Tata CLiQ. I’ve picked favourite styles, including boho and shirt dresses, all in trending prints and colours. I’ve also picked overalls, purely for nostalgic reasons.

The On-Trend Plaid + Denim Look

Nuon by WestsideIt’s chilly, but that doesn’t mean you need to avoid dresses altogether. It just means you need to learn how to layer them like a pro. Colour co-ordinating your dress with a pair of tights is an easy, acceptable look, but to complete it, layer with a denim jacket. I’m am for denim jackets – I can live in them all day. So to suit my mood, and the season, I’ve paired this denim jacket from Nuon by Westside with a shirt dress from the same brand, in one of the season’s hottest prints – plaid.

The Boho Chic Dress

Nuon by WestsideI chose this Nuon by Westside dress mostly because of the olive colour, which is on-trend right now. The dress features elegant embroidery, and can easily be worn during the day or a casual night out. The silhouette is flowy and feminine, plus the fabric is natural and unfussy. To solidify this bohemian look, I wore a headband to achieve the fun element, which I like to incorporate in my looks.

The Overalls

Nuon by WestsideI picked these overalls purely for sentimental reasons – they’re a teenage trend I love and end-of-year is the perfect time to wear them and get away with it. I’ve paired an anti-fit button-down shirt with my overalls. My rule of thumb is to pair a classic – like this shirt, with something quirky. I made sure the button-down had a relaxed fit to match the silhouette of the overalls, plus the sleeves can always be rolled up for extra cool-girl points. I’ve worn metallic boots, but ballet flats or booties can look just as good.
