Although I love travelling, there's one thing I absolutely hate - Packing. Not because it requires a whole lot of patience but mainly because no matter what I do, my shirts and trousers always seem to wrinkle. With my crazy schedule of back to back meetings, I do not really have the time to iron my clothes in the hotel all over again every time I travel. Can you please help me out with a few hacks and tips?
The Frequent Traveller.
Dear Frequent Traveller,
We totally get you. Arriving at your destination with a suitcase full of creased clothes can sure be stressful and fussing over a hotel's ironing board when you're in a hurry can be a nightmare. But fret not because we're here to help you out with a few life-changing hacks you need to know. So, whether you're travelling for business or a 48 hour getaway, these tips will help keep your look polished no matter what. Here's what you need to know:
Bundle wrap your clothes
A popular way of packing, the bundle wrap technique helps to keep your clothes wrinkle-free. It includes folding all your clothes in a single bundle with the larger pieces of clothing like a jacket at the core. Though this is proven to keep your clothes wrinkle-free, the only con is that you will need to unpack all your clothing at once with this technique.
Invest in a garment bag
If you're travelling with a formal suit or an outfit that absolutely can't have a single wrinkle, a garment bag is your solution. You can either use it full length or fold it over once. It's convenient and is definitely worth investing in.

Opt for wrinkle-resistant fabrics
Choose fabrics such as wool, polyester, viscose and knits that are less prone to wrinkling as compared to cotton and linen fabrics. Wrinkle-free fabrics require less maintenance and are generally hassle-free too.
Add tissue in between folds
If you prefer folding your clothes, adding a piece of tissue paper in between the folds will help it stay in place without creasing.
Unpack your clothes in the bathroom
As funny as this may sound, unpacking your clothes and hanging them up in the bathroom of your hotel while running a hot shower can help your clothing reach it's original shape. This is because the humidity in the bathroom helps to loosen out the wrinkles.
