Banana mug cake

3 tbls all-purpose flour
3 tbls brown sugar
1/2 tbls baking powder
A Dash of salt
1 tbls butter melted
1 egg lightly beaten
1 tbls milk
1 banana mashed
1/4 tbls vanilla

Glaze Topping
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbls butter
1/4 tbls vanilla
Small splash of milk

In a mug itself mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in your butter, milk, banana, egg and vanilla until combined. Microwave for 3 minutes, checking halfway through. Let it sit and cool. For glaze, combine all ingredients in small bowl and microwave until bubbly. You may need to stop a few times as this likes to bubble very quickly. Keep microwaving for about 30 seconds to 1 minutes. Stir to combine completely. Drizzle over the top of the cake. Top with sliced bananas if desired and enjoy!

Chocolate mug cake

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbls unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbls granulated sugar (you can add 1 tbsp. more if you like it a bit sweeter)
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp milk
2 tbls vegetable oil
1 tbls chocolate spread or mini chocolate chips

In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Whisk in the milk and vegetable oil until all ingredients are combined and batter has no clumps. Pour batter into a microwave-safe mug. You want enough head space for the cake to rise without pouring over. Add chocolate spread in the middle of the batter or mini chocolate chips. Just drop it in the middle, no need to push it down and sink it in the batter. It does that on its own when it cooks! Microwave mug cake for a minute and check if it’s done, of not, keep for few seconds more. Carefully remove from microwave and enjoy!

Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, and then in 15-second bursts until the top looks dry and cooked and springs back when pressed with a finger.Let stand at least 5 minutes before eating, as the cake and Nutella center will be quite hot.
