15-hour deadlines, PowerPoint presentations en route a 2 hour flight, con calls in traffic jams, crazy airport hair and heading to office armed with coffee and ideas that can put joint-wielding ad guys to shame. These are all a part of living life as a busy working woman. Going to office in Juicy sweats and Nike shoes are what we’ve all dreamed of but, like our highly-coveted Harry Winston jewels, this remains a much-unrequited dream.

So, we’re here to tell you how to work your outfits to get you from the airport to the boardroom,  without making a pit shop via your home.

Ditching pretty to add a dash of rad to this @missa_more_clothing dress ?

The Cinched Dress

Cinched dresses always work. Wear a knee length monotone dress paired with heels and a tote. Cinch your waist with a delicate belt and go with subtle accessories. Plaid can also be worn to work and pairs really well with nude, gold and black. You can dab on some lip tint and subtle blush for work and you’re all set.

Power Suit

You might have your reservations with this one, but damn, does this look good. Here, Kayaan pairs a blazer-culottes set with a lady-like shirt and nude heels.  Dark lips,  sunnies and a hint of red via the satchel makes it perfect to strut straight into the boardroom.

The Indian Jacket

Naina looks as cute as a button in this floor-skimming bandhani jacket. While this off duty look is perfect for a cruise you can team it with cigarette pants and a fitted shirt to make it a boardroom-friendly outfit.

Monochrome Chic

If you work in fashion, this is a great look from the airport to the boardroom. Nothing can ever go wrong when you don classic white outfits. Swap the moccasins with kitten heels, add a pair of spectacles, opt for a high ponytail and voila, you’re ready for a meeting.

The Cigarette Trousers

Cigarette trousers are a great way to spruce up your look and are a definite boon for petite women. Wear high-waist cigarette pants with a black tee and a plaid jacket. Pointy pumps and a horseshoe necklace for good luck complete the look. Charm bracelets, watches and a simple cute pendant are a great way to accessorize your work ensemble. A fitted jacket is a great investment in making you look stylish and chic.
